LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Our cabins are located in the beautiful
Shellharbour region.

Located 1.5 hours south of Sydney, and 20 minutes south of Wollongong, the Shellharbour region is bound by the Tasman Sea to the east, Lake Illawarra to the north, Illawarra escarpment to the west and Minnamurra River to the South.

Take time to visit some of our local parks and recreational areas!

A popular spot for fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving and walking.

The clean sandy beaches are perfect for surfing, swimming or watching the kids play in the waves.

The largest natural reserve bushland in the Illawarra, there are various walking trails, picnic facilities with gas and wood BBQs, children’s playgrounds and other amenities.

Come and watch the planes take off or take a scenic flight with NSW Air from the Sea Cliff Bridge down to the coast at Kiama.

NSW’s biggest water fun park, a great day out for the whole family. Plenty of food and beverage options as well as retail shops available on site.

Come and see the spectacular plumes of water that can be witnessed when the seas are running from the south-east.

A park dedicated for recreational use. It features stunning views in all directions and the local beach, “The Farm” as it’s known, is very popular with the locals.

A wide range of water-sports such as fishing, boating, waterskiing, etc. The foreshores provide picnic areas, playgrounds, boardwalks, walking tracks and a bike path around the lake.

Runs through the Illawarra Highway to the Southern Highlands and towers over the top of the Illawarra. The lush vegetation and waterfalls give way to excellent bushwalking and picnic areas.

Boardwalks and paved tracks take you around the rainforest floor and up through a range of rainforest environments.

Starting at the Royal National Park, the drive takes you through coastal rainforests, seaside towns, Wollongong and down the South Coast.

Stroll down Addison Street, have a coffee, browse in the shops or paddle down at the harbour foreshore.
